connected to the Execu/Touch server network and any
antennas needed to transmit the signal to all parts
of the restaurant. It is not recommended to use more
than a single access point since switching from one
access point to another will cause the Terminal
Services connection to be lost. In a situation where
a restaurant is too large for a single access point
and a single high gain antenna to provide adequate
coverage, a splitter, cables and amplifiers can
provide you with the coverage you need. In our
testing, the handheld maintains a good connection
from over 100 feet, through 7 sheetrock walls and
through a cinderblock wall. You will, of course,
want to have a professional wireless network company
perform a site survey to determine your exact
needs.
